Penning and Planning: the proofreading process!

The Penning and Planning proofreading process in 7 simple steps:

  1. Contact me – Claire – via my website or by emailing with a brief outline of your proofreading project requirements.
  2. Details, completion deadline and pricing are then clarified via email or telephone (or face to face if preferred, in Hull or surrounding areas) during a no obligation, (up to) 30 minute consultation. I may request a sample of pages in order to guage an accurate time and cost.
  3. Once the booking is confirmed, 50% of the agreed payment is to be transferred via Paypal or bank transfer prior to beginning the proofreading project, in order to secure my service.
  4. All project documents (preferably Microsoft Word) to be emailed to, or exchanged via a mutually convenient hand over if a hard copy project (in Hull or surrounding areas).
  5. Project documents to be proofread as per previously clarified specifications using Microsoft Word track changes and notes in comments boxes, or manually if it is a hard copy project.
  6. Project documents to be returned via email or a mutually convenient hand over (in Hull or surrounding areas) by the completion deadline agreed.
  7. Remaining 50% of payment to be transferred within 14 days of project completion via Paypal or bank transfer.
